Actress Kawira reveals why she walked out on husband & father of her kids after 6 years of marriage

Word making rounds on social media is that former Papa Shirandula actress Kawira aka Joy Furaha is now a single woman, 2 years after walking out of her marriage.

If you remember well, Kawira is one of those celebrities whose wedding was featured on Citizen TV ‘wedding show’ about 8 years ago. Back then – Kawira had made a name for herself in the film industry; and being a top actress of course her wedding had to be publicized.

However turns out that it only took her 6 years to realize she had settled with the wrong partner – a man she claims to have changed after they got married. Speaking to Kamuhunjia show recently, Kawira opened up saying;

 I left on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 4 pm. I still remember the date and time.

Single for 2 years

Well according to her – the union couldn’t survive especially after learning new things about her partner who had kept them a secret for years. And I’m thinking – maybe his true colors finally came out? Anyway speaking to Kamuhunjia show Kawira said;

If you feel in your heart that you are not in the right place, please quit, don’t stay there. You will live to fight another day.

So far it has been 2 years of living as a single woman and judging from how she put it – looks like the lady has no regrets whatsoever.

I am not married. I have been single for two years now. I said it is a wrap, and it was. I’m no longer in that relationship.
